Edward Enninful new EIC of British Vogue

First male editor in the history of the publication, British Vogue just announced the appointment of Edward Enninful as their new editor in chief. The successor of the patriarch of fashion on the isles, Alexandra Schulman, was previously creative and fashion director of W Magazine. At the age of 18, he was named fashion director at i-D Magazine, and received the fashion creator of the year award in 2014 by the British Fashion Council.

British Vogue announced the change of thrones in an Instagram post with his statement:  “I grew up reading British Vogue – I am so honoured and humbled to be taking up the mantle of editor.”
